Tasty Hibachi specializes in expertly crafted Japanese cuisine, with standout dishes that are sure to please any palate. The Chicken Teriyaki Hibachi is tender, smoky, and glazed with a rich, slightly sweet sauce that perfectly complements the grilled vegetables. Their Vegetable Tempura boasts a delicate crunch and light batter, making it the ideal appetizer or side. Sushi lovers will find a treasure trove of options, from fresh sashimi including Tuna and Snapper to an array of creative rolls. The Tokyo Roll, combining crawfish, shrimp tempura, avocado, fried crab, and drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce, delivers a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Similarly, the Rainbow Roll offers a vibrant medley of crab, avocado, cucumber, and a colorful spectrum of fresh tuna, salmon, and snapper that feels both delicate and indulgent.
For those craving something with a crunchier edge, the deep-fried rolls like the Razorback Roll (cream cheese, shrimp tempura, crab, and eel sauce) or the spicy Godzilla Roll beautifully balance texture with bold, layered flavors. Every bite is a testament to fresh ingredients and meticulous preparation.
Regulars and newcomers alike appreciate Tasty Hibachi for its generous portions and dishes framed in quality, which some consider slightly pricier but entirely justified by the authentic taste and freshness. As Ryan Runquist notes, the variety and quality of the rolls truly impress, making it worth every penny. Gayla Easley’s experience echoes this sentiment, highlighting not just the delicious hibachi and affordable pricing but also the staff’s awareness and accommodation for gluten-free dietary needs.
This restaurant holds a “hole in the wall” charm, as Asia Langley beautifully describes—a modest setting filled with good vibes and the genuine warmth of the people who run it. It’s not rushed fast food; do expect the right amount of restaurant time to let the flavors develop fully and the meal to be savored. John Bamond also points out its value for a quick and reasonable sushi fix without compromising on taste, making it an ideal spot for anyone passing through or locals seeking quality Japanese fare without venturing out to bigger cities.
If you find yourself in Arkadelphia craving flavorful Japanese cuisine with a friendly atmosphere and a menu rich in variety—from savory hibachi grilled dishes to fresh, innovative sushi rolls—Tasty Hibachi should be at the top of your list. Their commitment to taste, service, and accommodating guests makes for a truly satisfying dining experience that leaves many eager for their next visit.
First time trying and I am very impressed. Tried four different rolls and great flavor and ingredients. A bit pricy but well worth it, highly recommend!
We were staying overnight in Arkadelphia on a roadtrip and tried Tasty Hibachi for the first time. The hibachi was absolutely perfect & delicious! The portions are generous and price very affordable. It was full of people when we arrived & a steady stream of customers picking up orders continued the whole time. Plus they are knowledgeable about gluten-free and able to provide many gluten-free options. My non-gluten free family said my gf chicken tasted as good, if not even better than theirs! We will make it a point to stop here on future trips. Highly recommend!
This is the place for a quick bite when you're in the mood for sushi. It's not like the great sushi restaurants in Little Rock or Hot Springs but it's quick and reasonable.
This is a GREAT place to eat! I was skeptical but it had a lot of good reviews. Nice people, basic setting, good vibes. The onion soup, chicken hibachi, and sushi was all AMAZINGLY delicious! Its a great "hole in the wall" type of place. This is not a fast food place, so expect for them to take restaurant time, the food is absolutely worth it.
great food! order at the counter and eat in or take to go. they only sold bottled and canned drinks but otherwise no complaints. nice jazz music and calm atmosphere. not too many people, but a good constant flow
